Description

The Huntsville house plan is a simple, but attractive Craftsman home design. This two story house plan is compact in size; however, it has considerable living space for a family. Our Huntsville plan is idea for infill building projects, but is equally suitable for suburban neighborhoods.

The Huntsville house plan first floor

The main floor of this arts and crafts homes features a front porch with a standing seam metal roofing. It’s ideal for enjoying the outdoors during the spring, summer, and fall months. As you enter the home’s foyer, there’s an L-shaped staircase which leads to the upper floor of the dwelling. A formal dining room is to the immediate right. Moving beyond the foyer leads to the family room, which has a back wall fireplace. This room flows freely in to the kitchen and breakfast room. The kitchen area features a peninsula with addition seating for any occasion. There is also direct access to the formal eating space.

Left of the family area is a guest bedroom. It has private access to a full bathroom which is also accessible from the small hall. The home also has a side load two car garage which is reachable from the family room.

Huntsville second floor

The second floor of the Huntsville home plan has 3 additional bedrooms. A huge master suite has a box tray ceiling and overlook the covered porch on the 1st floor. The space has a generous size bathroom which features a separate tub and shower. In addition, it is outfitted with his and hers closets.

The secondary sleeping areas are standard sizes and they both share a hall bath. A laundry room is located just off the top of the staircase. A big bonus is the bonus room itself. This space sits directly above the garage as an empty canvas to make whatever you’d like.
